For a Good Cause

All money raised from this event will help the Cancer Society Otago & Southland Division continue to support and advocate for those impacted by cancer in our community.

As an independent organisation, we receive no direct government funding and rely entirely on donations, bequests, and community fundraising. Your contributions will help to sustain a wide range of free services to support individuals and their whānau affected by a cancer diagnosis.

The Cancer Society has been supporting New Zealanders with cancer and their whānau for over 90 years. Our services remain available to any person with any cancer diagnosis, including their family/whanau.

What we did across Otago and Southland last year:

  • 20,513km driven by Cancer Society volunteers
  • 2,021 Nights stayed at Daffodil House near Dunedin Hospital
  • 8,700 Supportive care phone calls

If you or a member of your whānau have received a cancer diagnosis, you can ring our local office on (03) 477 7447 or learn more about our free services at cancer.org.nz.
